Anna Robertson is originally from Gold Hill, Alabama and attended Auburn University, where she studied agriculture as an undergraduate. Anna went on to get a master’s degree in community counseling from Columbus State University and had a decade long career in mental health and social services. She received a M.A. in English (creative writing concentration) at Western Carolina University in May 2025. Anna has been published in the Yalobusha Review, Reckon Review, Plateau Magazine, and Georgia Backroads. She is a 2025 recipient of a grant from the Elizabeth George Foundation and a 2026 recipient of a Literary Arts Grant from South Arts. Anna was also awarded the Gretchen J. Bryant Freedom to Write Fellowship at the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences. Anna currently lives and writes in the North Georgia mountains from her adopted hometown of Sautee Nacoochee.
